Woz is looking forward to using Leopard and likes the idea of third-party apps for the iPhone. Laptop Magazine has a long interview with Woz and he says, “I am really for the unlockers, the rebels trying to make it free. I’d really like it to be open to new applications. I’d like to install some nice games. Why in the world can I not install a ringtone that I’ve made?” We are with you Woz! Check out Laptop Magazine for the entire interview…
Today, Apple updated their site to include the $100 Credit for the early adopters of the iPhone. The form is on Apple’s main web site page. I just submitted my two iPhones and now have my two $100 credit approvals.

I found a cool WordPress plugin called iWPhone which enables this site to be viewed on your iPhone in an optimized fashion. The iWPhone WordPress Plugin and Theme automatically reformats our blog’s content for optimized viewing on Apple’s iPhone. It detects the iPhone’s User Agent and serves up the content with the special theme only to iPhone visitors, all other browsers will view our WordPress blog with our current theme.

This is just getting out of hand. BBspot is reporting that Steve Jobs will be offering a $7,000 rebate to early adopters of the 1983 Apple Lisa which sold for $9,995. A year later, the price was reduced to $2,495. “I’ve felt bad about people who bought the Lisa for a long time. Anybody who bought one of the first Apple Lisas really got screwed,” said Jobs. “Now that we’ve got some cash, I think it’s about time we made it right.”

What is next? Rebates for those who bought the 20th Anniversary Mac for $11,000 that later dropped to $1,900? Just amazing!
Its a joke folks! Ha Ha… But maybe they should give Lisa owners a rebate ![]()
Apple may participate in FCC’s auction of wireless spectrum. This could give Apple the ability to provide wireless services without the use of AT&T. See the complete Businessweek article.
I finally bit the bullet and installed this on my iPhone. What was I waiting so long for? Nullriver has made this installation so easy. This mod is great! With the installer on your iPhone, you can download and install applications directly from the iPhone without the use of your computer. There are games, utilities, productivity apps, wallpaper, ringtone packs, and more. My favorite are the Finder, Terminal, SSH, IRC, and Voice Recorder. Here is one screen capture taken by the iPhone itself and uploaded to Flickr. Screen Capture is another app available. You can download this mod at http://iphone.nullriver.com/beta/

You’ll notice on the bottom right that there is a small sun or light. That is the coolest app installed. Its a dock that you press and up comes an animated dock of your installed apps. Pretty cool!
